“25 Quotes From Buddha That Will Change Your Life”
“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.”

Stop handguns before they stop you (or someone you love)….
Despite some of you who still want your “right to bear arms” let me just show you this… and although it may not seem like a lot, the numbers (in other countries as well) are rising. Yes, guns don’t shot themselves, but they DO kill. It would be a hell of a lot harder to stab someone to death than shot them. It is a “hands free” method that many deem cleaner, and less violent (like that makes sense) because they aren’t doing it themselves. It’s funny how when these “It’s my RIGHT to be armed” people see the horrors these weapons can cause and they themselves are left in the aftermath, THAT’S when the change their minds… when their 5 year old baby boy or girl, was ripped from life by some evil piece of garbage that was drugged up on SSRI’s (or any other anti-depressant, etc) and used their “right” to bear arms. Could you look in the mirror after and honestly still feel so hard-assed abut your silly right?

We keep “Little Red Riding Hood” out of schools because of the bottle of wine in her basket. Why not assault weapons?

Let’s Start The Fight – Ignore “Ana” and “Mia”
So before some of you misunderstand what I mean by this post let me clear it up. The names Ana and Mia (as well as a few other names for other mental illnesses) are being used to hide or describe the eating disorders Anorexia and Bulimia. In this day in age freedom of speech is being taken WAY too far. There are websites out there telling people of all genders and ages to starve themselves/diet/vomit or hurt themselves, or even kill themselves. These sites even have”tips” and links to sites to buy any items necessary. The sites are run my older men, older women, and even CHILDREN. That’s right children are now telling other children how to become anorexic/bulimic. Sharing pictures, insane diets, quotes, ideas, etc. These sites are being labeled as “self help” and for those in recovery – all lies. I have found some sites that claim to wanna help those with eating disorders, actually telling their followers “you are only pretty and worth it, if you’re not eating”. As someone who has had an eating disorder, this disgusts me. It is NOT fun, it is NOT pretty, it is NOT worth it. It IS a LIVING HELL. Your skin dries out and peels, your hair will fall out, teeth will be lost, as well as the hundreds of other health problems that result from eating disorders. It consumes your every thought and it becomes you. That’s why seeing girls as young as 10 years old telling other young girls to starve themselves and take diet pills – disgusts me as well as frightens me. So I’ve decided to blog about it. To expose how sick and detailed this not so underground train-wreck really is. They are allowed to do all this -freedom of speech… I want to change this. Same reasons why yelling “fire” in crowded theater isn’t considered freedom of speech… I want to add these sites onto that list.

The World’s Best Mom
Loved this story. This woman deserves the title of World’s Best Mom. ❤
That’s a lofty title, I know. And believe it or not, I know her. Even more amazing (to me) is that I’m married to her.
One might think the world’s best mom would be someone with years of motherly experience and a number of kids — someone who has been doing it for a long time. My wife, Katie, doesn’t come close to qualifying under those terms. You see, we’re new parents. Our first son, Randol Thomas, was born on Thursday at 12:56 a.m. at the incredibly young gestational age of 25 weeks and 4 days. That happy moment had a sad ending when our baby boy lost his life later that morning at 5:20 a.m. after struggling for hours to try and breathe with what we knew were severely underdeveloped lungs — something we knew would be an issue after my wife’s water broke at just 18 weeks.
So how could…
